Abstract

Education is a basic right for every human being. Usually, each student receives an education organized by the government or non governmental organizations. Education cannot be achieved instantly, but through a long process, from children to parents. Apparently, Islam is very concerned about the issue of children's education. This is evidenced by the Qur'an which was revealed in the Qur'an Surah Lukman verses 12-19 which contains an invitation to worship Allah SWT and there are no partners for Allah. Lukman teaches children to become human beings who believe and fear Allah SWT with the consequences. The concept of Luqman's education which was enshrined by Allah in the Qur'an, the essence is the education of Tauhid; special moral education to both parents (birr al waalidayn); education about responsibility; education in establishing prayer, admonishing ma'ruf nahi munkar and patience; and moral education so as not to have an arrogant nature and always be gentle and full of manners. This means that a child should be instilled in basic education as early as possible about the child's relationship with God and the education of children related to others.
