TELAAH KONSEP MUHAMMAD NATSIR TENTANG “PENDIDIKAN INTEGRAL”

Abstract

This article was conducted to analyze the concept of integral education from Muhammad Natsir. He is one of the figures known as a cleric and a fighter in politics, he is not mentioned much as an educational figure. However, if we trace the career path of Muhammad Natsir, there are many ideas related to education. Evidence of his concern for education can be seen from when he founded an Islamic Education institution. The concept of good education according to Natsir is an integral concept, namely education that combines two systems, namely schools that breathe religious aspects with modern (Western) curriculum and management systems. This type of research is qualitative with a library research approach, namely collecting data related to the thoughts of Muhammad Natsir's Islamic Education. The purpose of this article is to find out Muhammad Natsir's integral concept of Islamic education.
